Looking for something new for Remembrance?

Reflections is an original composition for Brass Band and has ranges and rhythms which are playable by most brass bands - although the ensemble playing in the exposed sections is more challenging! Why not have a listen?

In Flanders Field for Brass Band was first published last year and this arrangement of Sousa's composition immediately destroys any thoughts that he only wrote marches!

New Jazz Arrangements

We are releasing a short series of 10 arrangements for Brass Octets: 2 Flugels, 2 Tenor Horns, Baritone/Euphonium, Eb and Bb Basses. Alternative F Horn and bass clef parts are included and (of course) the Flugel parts are playable on cornet/trumpet.

Swingin Safari was one of our first commissioned arrangements some 10 years ago but is only now being published.

Many of these arrangements have an improvisation section with a suggested part for those who need it! My Baby Just Cares for Me is perhaps best known from the Nina Simone 1957 release but it was written for the 1930 film Whoopee!.

New for Brass Band

March to the moon is a lively original dramatic composition written to celebrate the 1969 Apollo 11 moon landings. It joins some other original space themed compositions including Io Tectonics with its dramatic reflection of the volcanic nature of Io (the inner most moon of Jupiter). Callisto Adventure with it's driving opening bass line and Ganymede Patrol with an opening 8/8 section are also named after the moons of Jupiter. Europa ride is expected to be published by the end of the year completing this series.

We continue to extend our solo collection with a great arrangement of this 1960s Mancini classic for Solo Trombone with Brass Band accompaniment suitable for players with a grade 5 ABRSM range. Moon River has no soprano cornet part and the Vibraphone part can be played on Glockenspiel or omitted.

Make you feel my love was composed Bob Dylan and has been covered by a number of artists including Adele. This lovely arrangement features the Flugel Horn. Other Adele hits arranged for Brass Band include Water Under the Bridge and When we were young

Originally released in 1972 Rocket Man is featured in the 2019 Elton John Biographical musical. It includes more challenging rhythms than many of our other popular music arrangements. Other Elton John songs arranged for Brass Band include Don't let the sun go down on me and Your Song

One of my personal favourites is Mary did you know? with the melody moving between Euphonium, Solo Horn, Flugal and Solo Cornets with an optional part for Glockenspiel. Paul McCartney's Wonderful Christmastime is one of our best selling Christmas songs and is best performed with tubular bells! Plum Pudding is a lively medley of well known Christmas songs.
